2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way.

2000 ford f150 door locks not working. The door panel will need to be removed. The automatic door locks do not work. Power door lock repair i just did this repair on my 2001 f350 powerstroke 7 3l dually 4 door. They do not respond to the remote.

Step 1 change out the battery on the keyless entry remote control if the car is not responding to the buttons you press. This happens with both doors and both buttons. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this. Its a real hassel.

Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time. Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate.
