I have a 2000 disco ii td5 that has developed a leaking front sun roof. As well as leaking through the winder my roof was leaking where the drain tubes attach at each side. I then sat it back on a bead of silicon sealer. I took the sunroof off in the summer to try and fix it but it does not seem to have done the job.
Apparently there are a number of possibilities for leaks that was why i took out the headlining and left it out for 2 months to satisfy myself as to where the leaks were in my case between the sunroof frame and the vehicle roof.
