2000 Landcruiser Door Locks Not Working

I just replaced the old one and made sure it was a black key fob to make the old one and it was for a 1990 1997 land cruiser.
2000 landcruiser door locks not working. But there could be a conductivity problem in connector ih2 which is located at the front of the driver side door panel. I took my 2000 land cruiser to the dealer and they said they needed to replace the master switch in the driver side door. Our mechanic has confirmed this and went on to replace a control unit which receives both signals from the switches and the wireless signal.
I performed the steps to program the new key fob and all lights turn on for the key fob. Pulling this fuse out and replace it with the same exact one. They would not honor their 1 year warranty on that repair becasue they say the vehicle s computer is the problem and needs to be replaced 1200. This was done 500 and within a couple days it stopped working again.
So remove the interior door panel and locate the connector. Disconnect the connector clean with contact cleaner spray and small brush reassemble. If changing the fuse doesn t work then unfortunately you probably have a larger electrical issue. The switches on the door panels do not operate the system but the one functioning key fob we have does.
My master door lock switch in the driver side door stopped working last year. Good evening folks i ve been reading threads all day looking for some help and have found similar but not quite the same problems. Looking at your owner s manual or the fuse box you should find a fuse related to the door locks. Towards the front of the door.
